Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation Donates $267,134 to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation announces its donation of $267,134 to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  The donation marks the fifth installment of the Foundation’s $2 million, six-year pledge, which was made to the Hospital in November of 2004.  It has given more than $1.7 million of the pledge to the Hospital thus far.

“We are extremely proud to continue forward with our commitment to Children’s Hospital,” said Kevin Mazzucola, executive director of the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation and Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia. “We all know that auto dealers are pillars of their communities and those of the Philadelphia region are particularly philanthropic. Even in today’s economy, their commitment level remains parallel to that of 2004.”

The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia has been supporting The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 1986. Since then, it has contributed more than $4 million to the Hospital. This year’s donation involves ticket proceeds from the Philadelphia Auto Show’s Black Tie Tailgate Preview Gala, which took place on January 30th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In addition, the Philadelphia Auto Show contributes one dollar from every ticket sold to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through the Foundation.
